Step 1: It starts with a conversation
Your first step isn't a workout — it's a free intro. That's a relaxed, 30-to-60-minute sit-down with a coach. No gym clothes, no burpees, no being put on the spot. We give you a quick tour, get to know your goals, and answer the questions everyone's afraid to ask:
- Do I have to be in shape first?
- What results can I actually expect?
- How often should I come?
- What if I can't do a pull-up?
By the end, you'll know your starting point and whether we're the right fit. No pressure either way.
Step 2: On-Ramp, your 3-to-5-day foundation
You don't get thrown into a packed class on day one. Every new member starts with On-Ramp — a short beginner program that runs 3 to 5 days, with a coach guiding you the whole way.
This is where you learn the basics at your own pace: how to squat well, how to move a barbell safely, how to scale any workout so it fits you today. By the time you finish, you'll know what you're doing, you'll move safely, and you'll already recognize a few faces. You won't be the lost person in the back. We make sure of it.
Step 3: We set your goals together
Once you're moving, we don't turn you loose and hope. You and a coach sit down and get specific about what you actually want — lose weight, get stronger, have more energy, keep up with your kids — and build the plan to get there. It's your roadmap, written down, so your progress isn't left to chance.
Step 4: We talk through nutrition
You can't out-train a bad diet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Every new member sits down with one of our nutrition coaches for a consult — an honest conversation about what you're eating and where to start. No crash diet, no rigid meal plan to follow, no guilt. Just real guidance that points you in the right direction, so the work you're putting in actually pays off.
Your first 180 days
Getting started isn't one workout you survive. It's a journey, and your first 180 days are mapped out: the intro, On-Ramp, goal-setting, nutrition, and regular check-ins, all working together to turn showing up into a habit and that habit into lasting results. We walk the first six months with you. You're never left to figure it out alone.
What the first month actually feels like
Week one, you'll be a little nervous and a little sore — the good kind. By week two or three, the movements click and the dread fades. Somewhere in the first month, a coach greets you by name before you say a word, a stranger cheers you through a workout, and you catch yourself actually wanting to come back.
You don't need to be fit. You don't need experience. You just need to book the intro. Everyone in that room once stood exactly where you are — in the parking lot, wondering if they belonged. They did. So do you.
