Here’s exactly what to expect in your first four weeks at CrossFit Wichita — so you can walk through our doors with confidence and start building the strongest version of yourself.
Week 1: Foundation
Your journey begins with a Free Consultation — a one-on-one consultation with a coach. We’ll talk about your goals, your background, and what you want out of your training. No workouts. No pressure. Just a real conversation.
Then, you’ll start your four one-on-one sessions. These are designed to build your foundation — teaching proper movement patterns, safety, and confidence before joining regular classes.
You’ll learn:
- How to move safely through key lifts and bodyweight patterns
- How to modify workouts to your current level
- What to expect in a class
- Gym flow, equipment, and standards
By the end of Week 1, you’ll know exactly how to move, where to go, and what to expect — that’s the goal.
Week 2: Joining Classes
It’s time to dive in.
Every class at CrossFit Wichita is coach-led from start to finish. You’ll warm up as a group, review the workout, and get guidance and scaling options to match your current ability.
You’ll quickly learn that no one expects you to move like a veteran athlete.
Every workout is built to meet you where you are.
You’ll learn:
- How to pace and manage intensity
- How to stay safe and consistent
- That everyone here is focused on their own progress — not perfection
The biggest win this week? Showing up and putting in the work.
Week 3: Building Consistency
By Week 3, things start to click. You’ll know faces, recognize movement names, and feel at home in the space.
This is where we focus on consistency over intensity — because showing up regularly will always outperform going all-out sporadically.
We’ll also schedule your first 30-minute goal sit-down this week. It’s a one-on-one check-in with your coach to review progress, talk nutrition, and set short-term goals for what’s next.
This week is about:
- Finding your rhythm (mornings or evenings, 3 or 4 days a week)
- Celebrating small wins — they all matter
- Building habits that last
Week 4: Confidence
By your fourth week, something shifts — you’re not just surviving workouts, you’re thriving.
You’ll feel stronger, move smoother, and notice that your confidence carries beyond the gym. The barbell feels familiar, the coaches’ cues make sense, and the community feels like family.
We’ll touch base again to talk about your experience, review your goals, and make sure you’re set up for continued success.
And It Doesn’t Stop There
Your first month is just the beginning.
Over your first 90 days, you’ll continue to receive:
- Friday check-ins from a coach for accountability and support
- Two additional 30-minute sit-downs to help you reassess goals and celebrate progress
- Access to ongoing nutrition guidance, community events, and skill development opportunities
